Chef Andrew has been cooking as long as he can remember. As soon as he was able to stir a pot of soup he was helping his mother in the kitchen. While he was in high school, he started his first job as a cook. Andrew dreamed of becoming an Executive Chef one day. He accelerated through the ranks in the kitchen, which developed his knowledge and skills. At the young age of 23, he became a sous chef. He worked at a variety of restaurants learning what it means to be a chef. At 28 years old he accomplished his dream and became an Executive Chef. As much as he loved his career he wanted more. Andrew started to dream of his own company.
Coming up with a name for the company was hard but suddenly a thought popped into his head. A nickname given to him from his spouse many years ago. “Sly Fox." There is a funny story behind the nickname. When Apple came out with new face reading technology, it was easy to replace your face with an animals face. Andrew was messing around with different animals when a fox came on the screen. He then stated, “I’m a fox… a sly fox!” His spouse couldn’t stop laughing and told Andrew that it was in fact a cat, not a fox... Thus the nickname of Sly Fox was given to Andrew.
Making people happy through food has always been something Andrew has strived for. His vision for Sly Fox Catering is a company that provides the ultimate food experience. He believes that everyone has different tastes and that is okay! He used his cunning fox brain to develop his food bars around the premise that everyone can enjoy their own unique dish. Everyone at the event will have their own individual experience that is unlike the others.
